Job Description

Physical therapy helps reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients who have undergone surgery, suffered an injury, are recovering from serious illness, or are coping with a chronic condition. Our dedicated rehabilitation team uses a multidisciplinary approach, combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each patient. Treatment begins with a physician's prescription and a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced physical therapist. The therapist and patient then work one-on-one, following a specific plan of care designed to help the patient return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care following a specific treatment plan.
• Utilize manual therapy and exercise techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 Year of Swing bed, acute, and outpatient PT experience - Required
• Orthopedic experience - Preferred
• Travel experience - Preferred
• Graduate of an accredited PTA institution - Required
• Michigan PT License - Required
• BLS Certification (AHA) - Required
• Health system-wide profile standards - Required
