Med/Surg Telemetry RN Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day and Night rotating shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30 and 19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may be variable if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a strong background in patient care. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a telemetry environment and be prepared to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage patient treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-hospital care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg telemetry experience.
• Must have permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• One supervisory reference is required for submission.
