Orthopedic Trauma RN

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position in a specialized orthopedic unit that focuses on orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. The unit is recognized for its research and innovation, providing numerous opportunities for education and professional growth. Nurses will be part of an enthusiastic and fun team, where excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Schedule

This position offers a 3x12.0 rotating shift schedule, requiring flexibility for floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback duties based on unit needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have orthopedic experience
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Active RN license in New York
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
