Schedule

Full Time, 3x12 Night Shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM), with holiday and every other weekend rotation required, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for night shifts in a critical care environment, capable of floating to various units including Medical/Surgical, ICU, and ER. The ideal candidate will have a BSN, critical care experience, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients across various units.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed in New York State as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Critical Care Units.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS through the American Heart Association or RQI system required during clinical orientation.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
