Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit, focusing on medical neurological patients. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and monitoring of patients through a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage care based on their needs.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in procedures and provide patient education.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in Neuro PCU preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam.
