Schedule

Day shift, 5 days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Oncology Infusion Nurse will be responsible for providing quality care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other infusion therapies. The nurse will work in an ambulatory infusion setting and manage patient care in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients throughout their treatment, assessing for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and potential side effects.
• Provide strong IV therapy support and maintain IV access as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Oncology Infusion.
• Current South Carolina RN License or multi-state compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ONS certification and a chemotherapy administration certificate are mandatory.
• Strong IV experience is necessary.
