This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires working 3x12 hour shifts on days, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, with the possibility of holidays as needed. The first week will include orientation during the day shift.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for conducting radiographic examinations on patients, following established protocols to ensure high-quality images for diagnosis. The technician must have a sound understanding of imaging techniques and patient care, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures on patients as directed by physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain equipment and assist with quality control standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient history and related information accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician preferred.
• Valid ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with C-Arm and portable procedures is essential.
