Med/Surg Tele RN - Day/Night Rotating Shift

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) rotating shifts. Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN with a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for, along with 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. Candidates with oncology or chemotherapy administration experience are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided to qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Administer chemotherapy as required, ensuring safe procedures and patient safety.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and participate in safeMedicate evaluations during orientation.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Meet the required patient ratios during shifts and float as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST have a permanent Ohio RN license or a valid Compact State license.
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• Background checks are completed and reviewed; no license hits accepted.
• Must have the ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Previous charge experience and familiarity with charting systems are preferred.
