Evening Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide care in a 40-bed unit focusing on long-term care patients, including those with multiple sclerosis, orthopedic conditions, dementia, and memory care needs. The position requires floating to all units within the same building.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of registered nursing staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Current New York State LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
