IR RN with Stroke Experience - Day Shift

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IR RN with a focus on stroke care for a day shift position. The selected RN will work in an acute care hospital setting and will be required to cover on-call duties, maintaining a 30-minute proximity to the hospital for stroke calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for stroke patients and other cases in Interventional Radiology.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to stroke alerts promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2 during shifts.
• Be prepared to float to affiliated facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar nursing role, with specific stroke experience required.
• Current California RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
