Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week with six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing care to patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The Registered Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care. This position requires ongoing clinical competency through continuing education and the ability to delegate patient care priorities based on the staff's education and experience. Supervision and direction will be provided to personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in all aspects of patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care tasks according to staff experience and qualifications.
• Supervise and provide direction to nursing staff in patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current AZ Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
