CT and X-Ray Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid 4x8-Hour shift from 15:00 to 23:30 with an expectation of floating to other facilities as needed. Primary days are Friday to Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT and X-Ray Technician experienced in both outpatient and emergency department settings. The technician will be responsible for performing CT and X-Ray examinations on adult and pediatric patients, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations, including but not limited to Abdomen, Pelvis, Head, and Chest scans.
• Start an average of 8-9 IVs per day as required for procedures.
• Utilize PACS and portable imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide excellent patient care.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and prepare/administer contrast media when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT and X-Ray Technician.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT certifications in CT and Radiography required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is essential.
• Excellent experience with infants and pediatric patients is preferred.
