Job Description

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. The nurse ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. They demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization, treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the age-specific needs of the patient population.
• Ensure quality care is delivered efficiently and safely.
• Demonstrate effective work habits and clinical practices.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with patients and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA required.
