Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with overflow neuro responsibilities. This role requires the nurse to float to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs and manage multiple titrating drips.
• Provide critical care to patients, including vent care.
• Work with multi-system disease processes and critical interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required before starting.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of unit experience in a large teaching facility.
• Experience with CRRT, IAPB, ECMO, COVID-19 protocols, and managing multiple drips.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required.
