Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:30), Monday through Friday

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. The role involves performing various nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and training less experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
• Perform complex imaging procedures including HIDA scans, PET scans, MUGA scans, and more.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide patient education and comfort during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and participate in quality assurance activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Active Maryland state license.
• ARRT-N, CNMT, NMTCB, and BLS certification required.
• Ability to work on-call shifts if desired.
