Day shift, primarily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Variable shifts may occasionally occur.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with a focus on inpatient care in an acute care facility setting. You will be responsible for managing patient care across various surgical procedures in the Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education.
• Manage post-operative patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals according to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar role.
• Current and valid California state nursing license. Pending license accepted.
• ACLS, BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
