Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Will allow 4x12 upon request.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse with a strong background in labor and post-partum care. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling diverse patient needs, including high-risk antepartum cases, and will work within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor and delivery care in compliance with hospital policies.
• Manage antepartum and postpartum patients effectively.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and appear proficient in the use of IUPC placement and calibration.
• Maintain central lines and administer anticoagulation and antihypertensive therapies.
• Circulate for C-sections and conduct sterile vaginal exams.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, BLS, NRP.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
