Travel X-Ray Technician

Schedule

AM shift, Monday-Friday, 11a-7p, every other weekend on call.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining all imaging equipment, assessing patient safety and comfort, monitoring procedure revisions, coordinating daily imaging procedures, and performing other duties as assigned.

• Perform imaging and treatment processes in compliance with guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure safety during procedures
• Assess physical and physiological comfort of patients
• Monitor the need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Comfortable working in the OR
• Current NJ State RT License
• ARRT Certified
• BLS Certified
