Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights: 19:00 - 07:30 with weekend coverage required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to provide care in a variety of settings, including pediatric floors, PICU, ER, and NICU. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric critical care and be comfortable floating to different units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy to pediatric patients in multiple care settings.
• Manage and monitor advanced respiratory support tools and techniques as required.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care and treatment procedures accurately using EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care and emergency room settings.
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT with a valid SC license.
• Proficient in using Pyxis and Omnicell medication systems.
• Experience with apnea monitoring and capillary blood gases is preferred.
