Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Night Shift

Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Description

Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans. Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Create systems to provide care across a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Lead and mentor junior nursing staff and support personnel.
• Implement and evaluate patient care interventions.
• Maintain professional standards and stay updated with best practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Current certifications: NIH Stroke Scale, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Active Oklahoma state nursing license.
