Job Description

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Flexibility with work schedule changes is required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of OB Experience - REQUIRED
• Completion of 1 Travel Assignment - REQUIRED
• Ability to function as a 1st assist and scrub OB - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License - REQUIRED
• Current Skills Checklist, pertinent to the specialty (OBGYN) - REQUIRED
• Active American Heart Association BLS - REQUIRED
• Active American Heart Association ACLS - REQUIRED
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - REQUIRED
• Active S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification - REQUIRED
• Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification - REQUIRED
