Schedule

• 5x8-Hour Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 4x10-Hour Shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a day off after call
• Call required: One night a week and every 5th weekend

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Neuro ICU to join our Neuro Endovascular Department. This role involves carrying out specialized nursing procedures and providing care to patients undergoing critical procedures in a comprehensive stroke center.

Responsibilities

• Patient vital monitoring
• Performing mechanical thrombectomy, cerebral angiograms, carotid stent placements, and cerebral aneurysm coiling
• Administering moderate sedation as required during procedures
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of three years of critical care nursing experience, preferably in Neuro ICU
• Two years of experience in the specified field
• Current ARRT R, BLS & ACLS certifications
• Must have SC nursing license and at least one year of experience using EPIC documentation system
• Experience in IR, special procedures and neuro work setting is required
