Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Neuro Stepdown Nurse to join our team at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital. The chosen candidate will provide care in a stepdown neuro unit and may be required to float to other units with a similar patient population as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Neuro Stepdown Unit.
• Monitor patients' conditions and administer medication as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-going assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a Neuro Stepdown unit or similar specialty.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday.
• Previous charge experience and familiarity with PCU/Progressive care preferred but not required.
