Job Description

We are seeking skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurses for a Medical Surgical/Oncology unit. The primary patient population consists of general medical-surgical diagnoses with a history of oncology. The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and managing various patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical surgical patients with oncology history.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products as needed.
• Manage colostomy care, central line blood draws, and wound care.
• Perform isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient Med/Surg setting.
• Oncology Certification (OCN) is required prior to start.
• Experience in administering chemotherapy and managing ports is essential.
• BLS certification is required.
• Traveler must be able to float to similar units as needed.
