Telemetry Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shifts; 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week, with some weekends required.

Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for stable remote telemetry monitored patients who are not on cardiac drips. The role requires the ability to float to like units as needed based on facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Provide care to patients with colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube management, and pre/post hemodialysis management.
• Perform blood draws and manage central lines and intravenous access.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid Kansas or Compact RN license.
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS.
