Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for circulating and assisting in endoscopic procedures. You will work in a dynamic team environment with a focus on patient safety and care quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, and bronchoscopy.
• Maintain high patient-to-nurse ratios: 1:1 for circulation and pre-op, with up to 2 patients in PACU.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Utilize Meditech Expanse and Provation for documentation and scheduling.
• Participate in daily huddles for optimal workflow and communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS procedures.
• Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Advanced skills in robotic bronchoscopy and EBUS are preferred.
