Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may vary based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, with a focus on patient care in a hospital environment. Oncology experience is preferred, and training will be provided for chemotherapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 18 months of permanent experience in medical-surgical/telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience is preferred but not required.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
