4/10's from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Cath Lab RN is responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. This role requires expertise in circulating and monitoring during high-risk interventions, including STEMI cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or emergencies.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding procedures and aftercare.
• Participate in on-call duties, with a requirement of 7-9 calls per month, including one weekend.
• Be prepared to float to Northwest Houghton as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience, with consideration for less experience if demonstrated competence.
• Experience in circulating, monitoring, and familiarity with high-risk equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Anari.
• Preferred experience in Electrophysiology and/or Interventional Radiology.
