12-hour night shift including weekend rotation; must agree to participate in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult unit will provide the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients. Utilizing specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states, the nurse will plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care through the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg/Observation unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan and implement effective patient care.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in the call rotation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience required.
• Current RN License to work in Colorado.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
• At least 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience preferred.
