Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse with a specialization in neurology to provide high-quality patient care in a 12-bed neurology ICU unit. The candidate will be responsible for the care of neurology post thrombectomy and TPA patients as well as post-neurosurgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage critically ill neurology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform advanced procedures such as CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Previous ICU experience, particularly in neurology.
• Experience with care of neurology post thrombectomy and TPA patients.
• Familiarity with documentation in Cerner and use of Baxter pumps.
