Surgical Technologist - Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 40 hours per week, with a mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. Call shifts required 6-7 times per month, including every fourth or fifth weekend, from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.

Job Description

We are seeking a proficient Surgical Technologist with expertise in a variety of specialties, including Orthopedics (Total Joints), GYN (including C-sections), Urology, General Surgery, and Sports Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures across various specialties.
• Maintain a sterile environment during surgical operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment needed for procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Proficiency in General Surgery, OB (including C-sections), Orthopedics (including Total Joints), Urology, and Sports Medicine.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Surgical Technologist certification from NBSTSA or TS-C from the NCCT required.
• Night Health Med Tech certification or ability to apply before starting.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• A signed supervisory reference from the past year of employment.
