Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) with potential floating to IMCU & MedSurg.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse for a critical care unit. The ideal candidate must be flexible as they may be required to float within the facility depending on patient volume and staffing needs. Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly EPIC, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in status.
• Administer medications, including vasoactive drips, and manage ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to develop treatment plans.
• Assist in various procedures including central line management and IV sedation.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Active North Carolina or multistate nursing license.
• Experience with managing pediatric patients is beneficial but not frequently required.
