Job Description

This is a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) that manages more than 100,000 visits a year and is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. It is the only Level I trauma hospital in the area. Responsible for treating a diverse patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses. These nurses will only be responsible for the care of med/surg boarder patients within the ED. The patient ratio is 1:5 with assistive personnel. No ED experience is required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NYS RN License (ONLY NY Licenses are accepted at this time)
• 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• Telemetry experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
