Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required. Floating may be required but is rarely needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is accountable for providing care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process as per the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience required.
• Certifications: NIHSS, SAMA or CPI, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required.
• Fingerprinting is required for all NM travelers.
