This is a contract position with an expected duration of 8-10 weeks.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with occasional additional shifts as needed.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department and on the floor as needed. The RN must demonstrate competency in emergency care and have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Assess patient conditions and implement necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold an active Missouri State or compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Nursing certifications as required.
