Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, with a preference for candidates with 5-10 years. This role involves providing care for patients in labor, postpartum care, and support for breastfeeding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vaginal exams and provide labor support for patients.
• Manage pregnancy-related diagnoses including Pitocin induction and both primary and repeat C-sections.
• Perform L&D triage for patients at 20 weeks or greater.
• Oversee newborn resuscitation and stabilization after birth.
• Assist with breastfeeding support post-delivery.
• Conduct non-stress tests as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; 5-10 years preferred.
• Certification in BCLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
• Experience with FHM, labor management, and triage is essential.
• Must have valid FL or compact RN license in hand.
• Travel experience required; locals must be greater than 30 miles from the facility.
