Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Schedule

PT Day/Evening schedule as needed (2x8s/3x8s) + Every Other Weekend, holiday 3x8.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. This role requires a strong understanding of patient demographics and the ability to deliver age-appropriate care to both adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the resident’s environment, including responding promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Address residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs, such as ambulation and proper body alignment.
• Report changes in resident status to the Charge Nurse promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid New York LPN Licensure.
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI only).
• At least one year of experience as an LPN, preferably in a long-term care or CNA capacity.
