Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma care and be familiar with a high-volume emergency department setting. You will be responsible for providing quality patient care, supporting the clinical team, and maintaining a positive experience for patients and their families in a diverse and multicultural community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with triaging patients and determining levels of care needed.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills and techniques to administer treatments and medications.
• Ensure adherence to protocols and standards to maintain patient safety and satisfaction.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS prior to hire.
• ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
