Job Description

The PICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to pediatric patients in a specialized environment. The position demands high clinical quality, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-2 for PICU and 1:2-3 for Stepdown. The staff will be expected to perform advanced procedures and utilize advanced monitoring and respiratory support equipment.

Responsibilities

• IV starts and catheter placements
• Providing ventilation management and trach care
• Central line dressing changes
• Assessing hemodynamics and ICP monitoring
• Tube feeding and placement

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience
• PALS certification required
