ICU/CCU Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights/Rotating Schedule

Schedule

This position requires flexibility as it will involve working nights and rotating shifts. The assignment involves a commitment of 80 hours every two weeks with no exceptions.

Job Description

As an ICU/CCU RN, you will coordinate and provide specialized nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in critical care settings. The ICU/CCU will manage surgical patients and those with severe respiratory and cardiac conditions, ensuring individualized, age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the ICU/CCU, adhering to age-appropriate standards.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care as required, especially in high-acuity situations.
• Participate in hospital orientation, unit-specific training, and complete competency requirements.
• Assist in floating to OB, MS, PACU, and ER based on individual competency levels.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license, valid in the state of practice.
• Experience in ICU/CCU settings preferred.
• Emergency room experience is recommended.
