Schedule

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry environment. Must have strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to various situations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient assessments and evaluations.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST have 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to the travel assignment.
• MUST have 18 months of recent med/surg telemetry experience; travel experience is acceptable.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a Compact State.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• One reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty applying for is required.
• Experience in oncology and chemotherapy administration preferred but not required.
