Days - Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with call 7 days every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse specializes in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and other tasks performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for patients over a designated time frame and provides care utilizing the nursing process and collaboration with other healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Assist with invasive cardiac procedures.
• Utilize nursing processes and instrumentation for patient evaluation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
