Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses for our Medical Surgical / Stroke unit. This unit is a general medical surgical floor with a specialty in stroke and neuro care. Ideal candidates will be upbeat and engaged, ready to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a maximum of 43 patients, maintaining a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize remote tele health and EMR Meditech for patient monitoring and documentation.
• Conduct assessments and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Participate in stroke and neuro protocols as designated in the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Experience in a medical surgical or stroke unit is highly desirable.
