4 days x 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00 or 08:15 - 18:45)

Job Description

Perform Nuclear Medicine Procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. The position includes rotating weekdays with no block scheduling and requires being on call after department closes until it reopens, approximately 7 days a month.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe, and computer systems.
• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures including various scans such as HIDA, PET, and others.
• Monitor and administer radioisotope therapies.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols for handling radioactive materials.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Nuclear Medicine license pending with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging allowed.
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine with either NMTCB or ARRT within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class within 4 months of hire.
