Day Shift, 5x8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00). Flexible scheduling with the option for alternating weekend shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Skilled Home Health Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a home health setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infusion and home health care, with specific experience in OASIS documentation, IV skills, and wound care. This role requires the ability to assess patients' conditions, carry out medical procedures, and manage various high-risk diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments.
• Provide basic wound care and manage complex wound dressing changes.
• Administer medications and perform IV-related procedures.
• Change and care for Foley catheters.
• Perform laboratory draws and manage blood glucose monitoring using glucometer.
• Assist with post-operative care and manage patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of skilled home care experience required, with recent patient care experience in the last 3 months.
• Must have valid Florida nursing license or compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with OASIS documentation is mandatory.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or exemption form on file.
• Flu shot or declination form required, with mandatory mask-wearing at all times while at work.
