Central Sterile Processing Technician

Job Description

The Central Sterile Processing Technician provides sterile products and instruments to all members of the health care team, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health standards. This is a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Schedule

Afternoon shift: 2:30 PM - 11 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile products and instruments to healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with sterilization and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor and maintain sterile equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sterile processing.
• NICHSPDP Certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges.
• Completion of an appropriate Aide training program, or a Central Technician program, or 6 months' previous experience in Central Supply.
