Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 and 48 hours per week available, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC), which has a total of 36 beds. Nurses in this unit provide comprehensive care for elderly patients, focusing on both acute care and transitional care to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• 1 year of recent experience in Medical/Surgical (MS) or Telemetry (Tele) required.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.

Required Certifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse license
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
