Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality bedside care, perform safety rounding, and participate in bedside care conferences. This role necessitates advanced nursing skills, particularly in dysrhythmia management and acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a Medical Surgical unit with a ratio of 6:1.
• Utilize PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry equipment in patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse system.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and efficiently.
• Participate in safety rounds and bedside care conferences.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Dysrhythmia skills are required.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Clean and professional dress code; specific scrub colors are not required.
