Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to assist and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. These activities must comply with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, as directed by the Director of Nursing, to ensure the highest degree of total quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality care standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Participate in the development and implementation of care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable institution.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Current LPN license in the state of Colorado.
• IV certification preferred for LPNs.
• Current BLS certification.
