PM Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, 3x12 hour shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional patient care by collecting health history data and completing admission assessments within acceptable time frames. The nurse will develop individualized age-appropriate plans of care, continually reassessing patients' biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs. Interdisciplinary coordination of care, documentation of patient responses, and implementation of discharge plans are essential components of this role.

Responsibilities

• Collect health history data from patients and families.
• Complete admission assessments and notify consults when admitting criteria is identified.
• Reassess developmental and environmental needs continually.
• Create and update individualized age-appropriate plans of care.
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and educate patients and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care meetings and discharge planning.
• Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret telemetry strips accurately.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid NJ RN License
• BLS Required
• ACLS Required
• PCCN Preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in Cardiac/Telemetry and Acute Care.
• Basic dysrhythmia experience required.
